The Eccentric Trio

LOCATION: Vancouver

The Trio located in Vancouver, is a triangular shaped building. Although from an architectural standpoint is a very interesting, this creates great complication when buying and placing furniture. The building is a very modern style with floor to ceiling windows taking advantage of the city views and North Shore Mountains. Cara Interiors was brought in to space plan and furnish this condo, as well as the lobby. While respecting the integrity of the exterior building style, a mid-century modern approach was taken for a full modern feel. The furniture style not only worked well in the space, the sizing also complimented the areas due to the smaller sizes. Lighter colours were used with accents of red to add interest making the space feel bigger.
